The Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (BSc OT) is a four-year degree program in the School of Health Sciences
The BScOT program meets the minimum requirements as per CUE requirement s
The BSc OT program is designed to provide training for both direct entry candidates and for OT Diploma holders who wish to Upgrade.
The training is based on a competency based curriculum designed for full-time students who meet the University entry level requirements
The Department boasts a well equipped training OT Skills Laboratory.
Occupational Therapy at PUEA attracts students from East, Central and Southern Africa for both direct entry and Upgrade
The department is run by the HoD, a Deputy HoD, an Academic Program Leader, an Exams Coordinator, a Lab Technician and an Administrative Assistant among others
The program meets the standard requirements set by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy for both direct entry and the Upgrade training
The program welcomes both government sponsored (?) and privately sponsored applicants
The program is housed in the School of Health Sciences together with the BSc Nursing and BSc Clinical Medicine, Surgery & Community Health
