Job Description

  • Providing strategic financial planning and implementation of the University Budget(s)
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring financial, accounting and administrative policies and procedures
  • Preparing statutory financial and annual reports in conformity with IFRS and regulatory bodies
  • Providing liaison for internal and external auditors and safeguarding integrity of financial reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory returns and legislation
  • Overseeing daily operations and advising management on resource optimization
  • Managing revenue collection and tracking research grants and endowments
  • Managing, mentoring and reviewing finance staff performance
  • Providing administrative support and enforcing financial policies
  • Preparing timely management reports
  • Any other duties assigned by management
