The Presbyterian university of Eat Africa support innovations in teaching & learning and conducts demand driven research that generate new knowledge. Research department exists to foster and maintain an effective research culture in the university. as well as doing collaborative research work and increasing opportunities for higher quality research. The university puts research among its core pillars as reflected in its core values. Staff and students are encouraged to promote integrity and transparency while conducting research.
Research Activities and Conferences
The department provides training and advices on all aspects of research to staff and students. The department place emphasis on publications on well researched projects. We organize research capacity building workshops, symposiums and conferences yearly. We also keep track of our researchers and their contribution to the world of scholarship by putting together all researches by faculty in a data bank.
Research Guideline/Policy
The research policy of The Presbyterian university of East Africa stipulates that specific committees deal with specific issues, charged with research administration, documentation of research outputs, workshops and conferences.
